wee~ i've got my laptop now. I don't have to go to the cybercafe just to use the computer anymore now. However for some reason I can't acces the wireless internet here =___= Okay, I'll talk about my first day at college post-orientation. Woke up around 6.30 because me and my housemates planned to go to college early to get our timetable. Went there, copied it and found it weird because one of my friends, who happened to be in the same course and class told me class starts at 10.30 but the time in the timetable stated it is at 9. So anyway, didn't think much about it and went to class at 9. BIG MISTAKE. When I entered the lecture hall andsat down, one of them said this. senior:Are you a freshie? You're in the wrong class. This is year 2 student class. Me:EH????? That means I've copied the wrong timetable. Shit! Thanks for telling. And I bolted out from there. =_____________="""""Damn embarrassing SO with one and a half our to class, I decided against going back and went to the library instead. Then when it's time to go, I was nearly late because I can't find the lock where my class is being held.( the campus is so freaking huge la and its a nightmare for someone with no sense of direction like me) Our first and only lesson for the day is Intro to Hosptality. The first thing the lecturer told us is that we're having a trip to Penang on the 28th till the 30th of June. =DD But this trip is not just all fun and play. We have to plan the entertainment for the two nights we're there. And do a lot of research and surveying as the lecturer had already handed out our first assignment. Gah hope will be able to survive. Anyway Monday is a good day. I have only one class XD Tuesday- Had Japanese class today. Not bad, but I'll need to put in more effort. Having our first test on the third week. However there's good news for us. For our Japanese exam, 40% will be from the final exam and 60% from our coursework. The reason for the change was a lot of non-chinese background students (read: banana) usually fail the translating kanji to english test. SO I guess this is really beneficial for me. After that, no more classes for me as English and some so-called nation building class is cancelled. If not, I'll have classes till 7. And oh,Im joining the swimming club as my mum doesn't really like the idea of me joining taekwondo. And she said that I might be able to grow taller. lol. |
